This time I created a base card from 5" x 9" from purple cardstock.I kept it simple this time by just using 1 piece of design paper from the Cut, mat create collection.

3 die cuts from this beautiful paper collection, some lace and die cut 2 flowers and some swirls,ofcourse as alwyas I inked the edges:))

Instructions: For a larger picture of the front click here. Another altered project this week, a cute mdf clock :) This time something simple: altering a mdf clock. Instead of using a real Quartz Clock Mechanism I used the junkyyeard findings. I love the vintage style of these trinkets:) Start with choosing the design paper you wish to use from the Cut Mat and Create Paper Collection and cut the paper to fit all the clock elements. Cut some die cuts you wish to use and cut several flowers and swirls in from the Cut Mat and Create Collection die. Ink them in different colors that will match your chosen design paper. I also used one of the arianna lace dies to put behind one of the flowers :) The mdf clock plate was painted with acrylic paint, color: sugar. I also decorated the back of the clock so it will not look bored :) Once you have all your pieces together and cut out you can start decorating your clock.

Other Products: Victorian velvet distress ink, tumbled glass distress ink, vintage photo distress ink, chipped sapphire distress ink, glue, hot glue gun, black memento ink, bandage, flatback pearls, zipper, handmade headpin, embellishments, acrylic paint.

Instructions: This time I decided to alter a cigar box :)) of course it will be stuffed with some sweets for the HC staff :P I painted the box first with acrylic paint and sprayed it with blue dysolusions spray, the inner box was also painted but no spray used. Then it is time to cut matching pieces from the Cut Mat and Create Paper Collection. As usual I inked all the edges first (also from the cigar box) I decorated the outside and inside of the box with the paper collection, cut a lot of flowers from the Arianna Blooms Dies and cut some decorative dies from the Cut Mat and Create Dies collection. For decoration I also used a small zipper and created a headpin. For the inside of the box I used lace for the inner edges.
